Boise to Provo to Denver and every truckstop, rainbow, farmstead, and funny thing in between.

so i am posting a series of photos from the last few days. in the last few days we drove almost all day everyday, and i am happy to say i got a good amount of sleep during this time and am feeling fresh and happy. tonight i sold over $400 in merch, and me and damien had a bet that if i sold over $200 he would buy me a ferby for the road. well, guess what, i am getting a few ferby's for tonights sales in denver, and they will be driving us mad right up along flomar, the gps system. colorado is insanely beautiful and the people were very sweet and amazing. same with last night in provo, very sweet and kind people. i am really enjoying the open air and the mountains and snow and sun and red dirt. tomorrow is our day off, where we will head to nebraska and take it easy for the night (shopping for furby's that is). the photos below are of provo, salt lake city, kennewick, the road in between, colorado, denver, some funny stops, and some venues. hope you are all well and enjoying yourselves.

Boise, Provo, xm radio, crackerbarrel country, night mountains

i wish i wasn't so tired or i would upload all my photos from the past few days. tomorrow, i will i will. tonight we are in utah, currently SLC, after the show at the most amazing venue in provo. it was a lot of fun, as my friend will and his wife came out to visit, the hospitality at the venue was amazing, and damien and lauras sets both were wonderful. damien wrote a new song right before he went on, inspired by our leisurely beautiful drive listening to the "spa" (ultra zen new age relaxation channel) on xm radio. we are really digging that thing.

tomorrow we are heading to denver, which means a long boring drive through whyoming. i have discovered if i wear my sleep mask and wrap my giant down comforter around myself like a cocoon, i can basically sleep the day away in the car. we are having a really nice time however, chatting, talking about conspiracy theories, bigfoot, ghosts, and all things alike. the mountains here, especially at night, are eerie and magical.

everything seems to have a soft glow.

tomorrow, i will write the real details and add some photos, for tonight, i have to get some sleep. we are staying with jean-marc's friend laron in his comfy abode. think, large cozy pull out couch and an electric blanket!

yes please. goodnight, night mountain.

sharing different heartbeats.

i think its safe to say damien and i are a couple of babies and both really miss our loves. his, is not so far from us, making it hard for him to be so close but heading further away. mine, on the other side of the world. we had our first video chat last night and it was magical to see his wonderful sweet face.

today we are in kennewick, WA, about to leave for boise, ID. it is about a 5 hour drive and the landscape out here is blowing my mind. it is crazy how different the eastern side of washington is compared to the west. the color pallet here is so lovely, think mild blues and greens and yellows and greys. with hints of little red trucks and black tire swings, and yesterday even a rainbow. will post photos tonight.

tonight laura gibson and her band meet up with us for the rest of the tour and i am really excited to see her play.

i am going to go take a lavender mineral bath before we head out to loosen up my muscles. last night i read that magnesium is the most powerful relaxing mineral, so i have been upping my intake to help my body stay calm and connected.

oh nature, it really works.

before heading off into spokane, where we just arrived, seattle was snowy but there were still beautiful blossoms peaking out all over the neighborhood....

snowday

we are about to hit the road, and i got a little over excited about my new dresses and forgot to pack for the SNOW, which we are experiencing here in seattle on april fools day. that is right, snow.

not exactly how i envisioned setting off into the trip, good thing damien is a daddy so he drives super safe. however, i am a nervous nelly when it comes to driving in snow and ice so i will be terrified either way.

good thing i have plenty of film and a boy on the other side of the world do daydream and fawn over in my head all day long as distraction.

here we go here we go.

family beach

these are a few photos i snapped while soaking up my last few days at our family beach house in the forest by the oceanfront near klipsan beach. i was there for a few short days relaxing, and catching the clam tides with my dad. this beach is so lovely and my favorite thing about it is the trail from the house to the water, full of tall oatmeal colored grass and dark green needle trees with little wild strawberries and winding paths.
